Group Facilitation & Services for Treatment Programs
Spirituality, purpose, and meaning-centered groups designed to complement existing treatment programming.
Restore Recovery Services creates dedicated space for participants to explore the inner and spiritual dimensions of recovery, including faith, a Higher Power, personal values, inner wisdom, identity, purpose, and direction.
Groups are inclusive and respectful of different beliefs and recovery pathways. Each person is invited to engage from where they are, without assuming a particular faith or spiritual perspective.
Spiritual wellness is one of the Eight Dimensions of Wellness and may not always receive the same dedicated attention as other areas of recovery. Restore groups help programs make room for this important dimension while supporting reflection, meaning, purpose, and connection.

Spirituality & Recovery
Exploring the role that faith, a Higher Power, spiritual beliefs, and sources of strength can have in recovery while respecting different beliefs and pathways.
Purpose, Calling & Vision
Exploring what gives life deeper meaning, the direction a person feels called toward, and a vision for who they are becoming.
Hope, Gratitude & Restoration
Strengthening hope, recognizing growth, practicing gratitude, and exploring the possibility of restoration and renewed life.
What Restore Groups Can Explore
Identity Beyond Addiction
Discovering who a person is beyond addiction, past choices, labels, or diagnosis.
Forgiveness, Grace & Letting Go
Exploring forgiveness of self and others, grace, releasing shame and regret, and making room to move forward.
Stillness, Reflection & Inner Awareness
Creating space to slow down, reflect, meditate, pray if desired, and become more aware of what is happening within.
A Group Format That Allows Time to Go Deeper
Restore groups are designed to allow enough time for meaningful discussion, reflection, and participation around spirituality, purpose, meaning, identity, and personal growth. The standard group format is 90 minutes, giving participants space to explore these topics without feeling rushed.
A 60-minute format is also available for programs that need a shorter group within their existing schedule.
Groups are interactive rather than lecture-based. Participants may be invited to respond to questions, complete short reflection exercises, share personal experiences when they are comfortable, and consider how the topic connects to their own recovery and everyday life.
Designed for the People in the Room
Groups can be adapted to the population, setting, stage of recovery, and needs of the participants. Topics and discussions are facilitated in an inclusive way that respects different beliefs and recovery pathways while creating meaningful space for spirituality, purpose, reflection, and personal growth.
Creating Space to Be Still
Alongside facilitated groups, Restore Recovery Services can help programs introduce Be Still Time—an intentional period of quiet reflection that gives participants space to slow down, step away from the noise of daily life, and reconnect with what matters to them.
Depending on the individual’s beliefs and preferences, this time may include meditation, prayer, journaling, inspirational or spiritual reading, gratitude, quiet reflection, or simply sitting in stillness. The goal is not to prescribe a particular spiritual practice, but to create space for inner awareness and connection with God, a Higher Power, personal values, or inner wisdom.
When appropriate, programs may choose to include approximately 30 to 60 minutes of Be Still Time as part of a participant’s routine. The specific practice can reflect the individual’s beliefs, comfort level, recovery pathway, and program guidelines.
A Collaborative Service for Treatment Programs
Restore Recovery Services is designed to complement—not replace—a program’s existing clinical and recovery services. Groups can be coordinated with program leadership around themes such as spirituality, purpose, meaning, identity, reflection, hope, and vision for the future.
Programs may schedule groups individually or as an ongoing series. Topics can be planned in advance or adapted to the population, setting, and goals of the program while maintaining the inclusive spirituality-and-purpose focus of Restore groups.
For ongoing partnerships, Restore Recovery Services can provide a brief monthly program summary highlighting group themes, participation, and areas of engagement. Services may be arranged per group or as an ongoing package based on the program’s schedule and needs.
Optional Individual Recovery Support
Programs may also refer participants to Restore Recovery Services for non-clinical, one-on-one recovery support outside the group setting. This may include recovery coaching and support, resource navigation, family support, or recovery accompaniment, depending on the individual’s goals and the program’s policies.
Individual support can also help participants prepare for the transition from treatment back into everyday life. A recovery coach can provide encouragement and accountability as someone follows through with aftercare recommendations, rebuilds routines, connects with recovery resources and community, and works through challenges that may come up along the way.
These services are separate from group facilitation and can be coordinated with the program when appropriate, giving participants an additional layer of practical recovery support as they move forward.
A consultation gives us an opportunity to discuss your program, the population you serve, scheduling, pricing and package options, and how Restore Recovery Services may fit within your existing programming.
