My Journey
My struggle with addiction began around age 12 and continued for more than 20 years. I found myself caught in the exhausting cycle of addiction—trying to get better, slipping back, and feeling more hopeless each time. Even during those years, I believed there had to be a greater purpose for my life. The challenge wasn't believing it—it was living it.
From Recovery to Purpose
Today, I am a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA), a credential that reflects my training and experience in recovery support. Through Restore Recovery Services, I provide private, non-clinical recovery coaching and support grounded in lived experience, practical guidance, and a whole-person approach.
Experience Supporting Recovery
Over the years, I've had the privilege of serving hundreds of individuals across outpatient treatment, residential programs, and community-based settings.
- Working with individuals in active addiction
- Helping individuals access detoxification, inpatient rehabilitation, and long-term residential treatment when appropriate
- Facilitating recovery groups
- Providing one-on-one recovery coaching and peer support
- Supporting parents, families, and loved ones as they navigate the challenges of addiction
- Connecting individuals with community resources
- Supporting people in pursuing education, career paths, and other meaningful life goals
- Supporting individuals as they rebuild their lives and pursue lasting recovery
The Restore Meeting
My passion for helping others also led me to create the Restore Meeting, a faith-based recovery support group where individuals can find hope, healing, community, and purpose.
What I Believe
I believe recovery is about far more than overcoming addiction. It's about rebuilding lives, restoring hope, discovering purpose, and becoming the person you were created to be.
Whether you're living in active addiction, taking your first step toward recovery, finding your way back after a reoccurrence, or continuing to grow in long-term recovery, no matter where you are today, restoration is possible.
